When did you open the White Linen Tea House and what was the inspiration?

Linda Kloch opened the White Linen Tea House 10 years ago.
She is an experienced restaurant owner with countless recipes and ideas.
With her love of tea and antiques, the Tea House was a natural fit.


What are some unique events or merchandise you might have that people can't find elsewhere?

First, our variety of tea. We have hundreds of loose teas, tea bags, chai, and herbal teas. Also we have a large selection of gourmet coffees to indulge in. No other tea shop can match our selection. We also pride ourselves on offering a very unique dining experience. We are the only restaurant in the area offering a traditional high tea of this quality.
Our hospitality is second-to-none. We give our customers a very personable experience. We love to pamper people and give them memories that will last a lifetime.

As we continue to grow and expand, we are also now providing delicious lunch menu options that you can't find anywhere else.
With a gift shop located right in our restaurant and our location next to the Shawnee Country Barns, we can give people a fun day of shopping and dining.


How has business grown over the years and what benefits have you seen being at your location in Wheatfield?

We have grown very much in the last decade with an expanded menu and gift item list. We have been successful because the people of Wheatfield have been wonderful. We notice customers who enjoy their experience can’t wait to come back with friends. Referrals are very important to us and they are the best compliment.
Wheatfield is also a good location for our business because it makes us a destination for Canadian visitors, Niagara Falls visitors and wine trail guests.
Wheatfield is close enough to attract people from the south towns.
